Several readers pointed out that the pipefitter soldering on the front cover of our autumn issue (Volume 11, Number 3) and the painter using a roller on page 15 should both be wearing eye protection. We thank readers for calling attention to these hazards. In future we’ll make every effort to show only safe practices.

CSAO’s Construction Health and Safety Representative training program has won an award from the Ontario Society for Training and Development. The program was the winner in the Best External Training Program category. CSAO’s five-day program is free to Ontario construction. A home-study version will be available next year.
