Accident Prevention Training Consultant

The Construction Safety Association of Ontario is looking a Field Consultant in the Training and Advisory Department.

Objective:

To provide health and safety consultation and training services to Ontario’s construction industry.

Location:

Timmins, Ontario.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of practical construction experience as a tradesperson and/or supervisor and/or site engineer/technician. Applicant must also be energetic, have initiative, good analytical ability and be able to work with minimal supervision or within an integrated team. Persuasive oral and written abilities together with computer skills are necessary.

Preference will be given to a candidate who has demonstrated good organizational and leadership abilities as well as experience and good knowledge of general construction and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects.

Applicant with both practical and supervisory experience is preferred.
